High Altitude Grass Fed Beef

There is much to be said for high altitude grass fed beef , and some studies indicate that beef from cattle raised on grass grown at high altitudes contains higher amounts of CLA and Omega 3 than from grass fed beef raised at lower altitude.

On the McNeil Ranch we have a saying that; “higher is better -upstream is cleaner” and it’s so true! In the Colorado Mountains, and especially here in the San Luis Valley, we are extremely fortunate to have such clean air and water, and we fully appreciate it, and endeavor to pass that benefit on to our customers.
